The WEF published an article based on Oxford Economics’ Global Cities Report, in which they found that by the year 2035 the world’s most important cities will be centered in Asia.
The report used three metrics in ranking (GDP, Population, and GDP Growth). It shows that 5 of the 10 largest cities by GDP, 7 of the 10 largest cities by population, and the 10 fastest growing cities in the world will be in Asia by 2035.
As one of the fastest growing cities itself, enjoying a unique geographical advantage, and having established itself as a regional hub for trade and finance, Dubai is perfectly positioned to act as a link between the fast-growing Far East and the Western World.
